In the writing of the second edition of e-Tivities many wonderful designers, practitioner, administrators and supporters of e-Tivities were contacted in regards to contributing to the book. The response was enthusiastic and excellent. Unfortunately, the book did not come close for allowing the level of content and knowledge sharing that many generously gave, nor give the recognition to the quality of work being doing out there in the "e-tivities" community.
So, in the lead up to the publication and the launch of this website we have decided to create a five month long "stories from the front line" online blogging project around the Five Themes in the new book. With some of the most respected academic and professional e-learning practitioners contributing to the project by agreeing to be interviewed around these five topics.
This project starts this month and will continue for the five months leading up to and inclusive of the book launch in Australia and the month or so after for the UK launch.
We are very excited to already have some wonderful people on board for the coming months, including:
· David Shepherd
· Anita Monty
· Gabi Witthaus
· Dr Helen Farley
· Prof Ale Armellini
· Assoc Prof Shirley Rueshle
with many more still to come....
So please stay tuned for some insightful stories 'from the front line' coming from around the globe. We very much look forward to show casing everyone's work and provide an opportunity for collaboration and networking.
If you would like to be considered for participating in this blogging project, or know someone who would be, please share this post with them or see the EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST page to send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
